Students (undergraduate and graduate) and faculty are invited to submit abstracts describing completed or in-progress research pertaining to any aspect of music teaching and learning. Researchers whose work is selected are required to (a) register for and attend the GMEA In-Service Conference (researchers from out-of-state will receive complimentary registration), (b) give a 30-minute presentation accompanied by visual slides. This new shorter format has been adapted to align with a more standard length for research presentations. It is suggested that the presenter talk for 20 minutes and leave 10 minutes for questions and discussion. This call is only for spoken presentations. A separate call for research posters will be disseminated later with a due date in the fall.
