I want to start out by thanking our entire staff for the wonderful job that they did during my absence.  My family and I are grateful for all your prayers and well-wishes during my illness. 

As you may have heard, OCDD surveyors arrived on our campus on Good Friday. They left yesterday evening after completing a thorough examination of our homes, including an environmental survey, interviews with staff, case managers, administrators and our medical director, and a complete review or our policies and procedures relative to COVID 19.

I am happy to report to you that they were most impressed with the quality of care that we provide. Nothing but compliments were received regarding the care delivered by be our DSPs, case managers, nurses and Dr. Sara Fernandez.  

We did receive one citation, however.  Not everyone knew how long disinfectant should remain on a surface to kill all bacteria and viruses.  Therefore, we are training staff throughly on the matter to ensure your family member will remain healthy throughout the pandemic. Our staff has been extremely conscientious in providing excellent care and keeping everyone safe. We need to keep this momentum going until the pandemic is over!
