" His Winnowing Fork is in His Hand"

This is a time of DIVINE PREPARATION. Surely you understand that being forced to separate from the world is an act of God?
Even Hulk Hogan gets it. He posted this. 
“God has taken away everything we worship,” he wrote on his Instagram page. “God said, ‘you want to worship athletes, I will shut down the stadiums. You want to worship musicians, I will shut down Civic Centers. You want to worship actors, I will shut down theaters. You want to worship money, I will shut down the economy and collapse the stock market. You don't want to go to church and worship Me, I will make it where you can't go to church.’”
“Maybe we don't need a vaccine,” he said. “Maybe we need to take this time of isolation from the distractions of the world and have a personal revival where we focus on the ONLY thing in the world that really matters. Jesus.”
Yes, the Lord wants to prepare us for the days ahead, by purifying us, cleansing us, filling us and calling us to His purposes.
A Vision
Karen and I went for a walk the other day. I had been praying about what the Lord is doing with us, His church. A we walked I suddenly saw a picture of the hand of the Lord smoothing a massive amount of white sand, gently spreading it the way He wanted it and shaping it. Then He would blow into it. I immediately understood I was seeing the Lord shaping His church around the world, almost like the "soil" of creation being formed, and breathing life into it.
I want to tell you about part of the process and two things the Lord is dealing with. The winnowing fork in the hands of Jesus dealing with fear and accusation.
 The Winnowing Fork
11 “I baptize you with water for repentance. But after me comes one who is more powerful than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire. 12 His winnowing fork is in his hand, and he will clear his threshing floor, gathering his wheat into the barn and burning up the chaff with unquenchable fire.” Matthew 3:11-12
We now have "combines" which harvest, thresh and winnow grain in one machine. But I've seen this done by hand in India. The grain (rice) is harvested - separated from the "field which is the world". It is gathered in the threshing floor, where it is broken by a threshing sledge separating the husk from the grain of rice. Then it is tossed into the air where the wind blows off the chaff and the heavier grain falls back down and is gathered. The chaff is burned.
John the Baptist said this was the Baptism of the Holy Spirit by Jesus. Amazing how we just want the Holy Spirit's power without repentance , breaking and the separating wind of the Spirit and Fire! Yet Azusa Steet preacher William Seymour was a HOLINESS preacher. He preached repent, be cleansed, receive the holiness of the the Lord,.... then you may receive the gift of tongues. We have short circuited the intention of God. We think if we speak in tongues we've got the baptism.....NO WAY! You got tongues, thank God for His blessing, but did you get what John the Baptist was talking about?
The Church On The Threshing Floor - Two Issues
So now the church is on Gods threshing floor. Separated from the "field of the world". The breaking is happening, will you let it work Gods work in you? Jesus is winnowing , will you let Him do His work? I spoke in an earlier newsletter and video about idolatry, probably the major spiritual issue in the church. I may teach some more about this later. But now I want to touch on two HUGE issues the church has in relationship to the world. Fear and accusation. I see the Lord is wanting to break us in these matters and separate us from the ways of the world and flesh.
Fear
7For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. 8Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God; 9Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began, 2 Timothy 1:7-9
I try to avoid Facebook except for family and a few friends. But I see two things that are major issues for believers I know right now. The first is fear. Even my friends are posting all kinds of stories and links to CONSPIRACIES. Everything about the plot to take over the world and loss of freedoms and on and on. Now I believe in conspiracy. Satan has always had a conspiracy and anyone that listens to him follows his conspiracy. But so what? The early Christians lived under Roman occupation. Paul said fear is not from God but power love and a sound mind. I see believers tormented by this fear. It consumes them. It's a "what if" fear. But look at Paul, he says to Timothy be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God;. Believer , you have to get over this! Satan wants to neutralize you with fear so you won't live according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began vs 9
Remember, this is the threshing floor! You are feeling it! Fortunately there two remedies #1 Obedience. The Lord always says to His people "Do not fear" So STOP IT! Stop looking at it, stop talking about it, stop re posting it . STOP! # 2 Set your minds on things above. I will watch news and stories to find out the truth, but anything that steals my peace I turn off immediately. Here is Gods remedy to fear.
4 Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice. 5 Let your reasonableness4 be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand; 6 do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. 7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.8 Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. Phil 4:4-8
Accusation - agreeing with the accuser of the brethren
The second issue breaking forth on the threshing floor is accusation. Specifically, believers agreeing with the accuser of the brethren, who is Satan. I am astonished at the visceral hatred of believers in Canada against Donald Trump and sometimes Benjamin Netanyahu. I don't mean disliking or disagreeing with him, but a demonic, vile hatred. I meet believers on the street in Campbell River and with no reason they open up against Trump, like a total obsession! Or maybe possession? Christians have "taken offense" (taken the bait) listening to all the offended reporters on stream media, and been taken captive to do the accusers will. The word offense in Greek means a "bait stick" , a trap that's baited and one bite releases the stick, and the trap falls.
A Common Example
As pastors Karen and I have seen this many times over the years, most often with a wife hating her ex husband. It always looks like this. She can't forgive him for his sins real or imagined. The accusations increase and she become consumed with hatred. Then she gathers others to her cause, and it escalates. More and more people listen, are offended and join the hatred. At some point as much as Karen and I would appeal to her to forgive she never does until it begins to divide and pollute the whole church. Finally we have to remove her to protect the church and deal with the fallout. It is a demonic scheme against Gods people. When will we wake up? Well, God is threshing the church right now, wanting to break this off!
9 Don’t grumble against one another, brothers and sisters, or you will be judged. The Judge is standing at the door! James 5:9
Please hear me my friends. This is not about Donald Trump. This is the threshing floor, and how you have acted towards Trump is used to break you. ! This is about walking with Jesus and getting your life right as a Christian. You can disagree and not like Trump. But he is a brother in the Lord, he is asking for prayer and he is a leader. You have an obligation in Christ to forgive Donald Trump (or any one else) if he offends you, and to pray for Him - because we pray for governments, no just our own . Will you obey or will you come under Gods judgment? The judge is at the door!
First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, 2 for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way. 3 This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, 4 who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.1 Timothy 2:1-4
"HONOR THE EMPORER" What?? That enslaving murderous dictator? Yes.
13 Submit yourselves for the Lord’s sake to every human authority: whether to the emperor, as the supreme authority, 14 or to governors, who are sent by him to punish those who do wrong and to commend those who do right. 15 For it is God’s will that by doing good you should silence the ignorant talk of foolish people. 16 Live as free people, but do not use your freedom as a cover-up for evil; live as God’s slaves. 17 Show proper respect to everyone, love the family of believers, fear God, honor the emperor.

MY PRAYER
Father forgive us for giving in to fear and not trusting you. We choos not to fear and will set our minds on the things that bring faith hope and love. You intend us to be "strong in the Lord and the power of His might." We repent for our verbal attacks made by us in the Body Of Christ against leaders. Please forgive us and cleanse us. Istead we will obey you and honor our eaders even when we disgree with them We pray for them to have your mind revealed to them, and hat they may have wisdom from above, and to be restrained for doing what iis not pleasing to you. Amen
