Join us for Easter Sunday worship online this morning at 10am. Once again we are worshiping with our friends from Inlet United Church, Port Moody. There are a couple of ways you could worship today.
1. ZOOM: If you click on this link it will take you straight into our zoom gathering if you are prompted for a password, it is 301273. We will be online from 9:30 am for social connection and to help anyone who is having technical challenges. When you first connect you will be placed into a waiting room (the Narthex!) until a host welcomes you.

In a first ever for our congregation, we will be sharing in the sacrament of Holy Communion together online. So when you come to worship on Sunday morning bring with you a glass of grape juice or wine and some bread (Or whatever food/drink you have at hand). Because the YouTube video will remain online, it won't have the communion liturgy included, so if you want to participate in communion, you can do so by joining worship in the zoom gathering.
2. YouTube: Our worship service can be found on our church YouTube channel. The video will "premiere" on Sunday April 12th at 10am, but you can watch it any time after that. If you are watching on Youtube - sign in with your google account to be able to join in the text based chat.
3. Our Website: www.goldenearsunited.ca The worship video will be embedded on the homepage of our website. Just click on it to watch.
There is one tradition that we have figured out that we can do safely. We will be flowering the cross and placing it out on the lawn for all of Maple Ridge to witness as a powerful symbol of hope in the resurrection.
You can bring flowers to the edge of the memorial garden between 8:30 and 9:30 am and between 12:00-2:00 pm. Please keep the required physical distance from anyone else who is there. We will have someone there to take your flowers and place them on the cross. If you are not able to come in person but would like to donate towards the cost of some flowers you can let me know. We will photograph the cross and share the pictures on our social media. (If there is someone else there when you arrive, we ask you wait until they are finished before approaching the memorial garden.)
We won't be gathering at the Wharf for our 7am sunrise service - but you can check out this little video from Inlet United to remind them of their Sunrise Service.
