Camp 2020

Please fill out this form to let me know your intentions ASAP! This does not have to be your final decision. We only have 25 Snowbird spots available so the sooner you hold your students spot the better!
Lifeway's Decision
This week, LifeWay made the decision to cancel all of their June camp locations. Unfortunately, this included our summer camp. While they did offer us the ability to transfer our registration to a July or August camp, all of those spots immediately filled up and have extended wait lists.
What does this mean?
Our leadership team discussed at length the options laid out before us. We have decided to offer you the following options.
- If your family is in a tough spot financially, the church would like to extend to you the option to withdraw the money in your students Fundraising Account to help get you through this unprecedented time.
- Faced with the option of no camp at all, we have rescheduled our summer camp to Snowbird at the end of the summer (August 3-8, 2020). You can transfer your Fundraising Account balance to this location.
- If you do not feel comfortable sending your student to camp this summer, you can always leave the money in your students Fundraising Account for camps and retreats in the years to come.

Weekly Youth Groups in Quarantine
Welcome to the new normal!
For as long as I can see, we will be having to do youth group online. Here is how we plan to do that for our weekly activities.
- Youth will be Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. and Sunday at 4:00 p.m.
- We will go live on our YouTube channel at EXACTLY those times with a lesson. It will be the lesson that says "PREMIERING NOW" in red text.
- Immediately after the lesson, we will have small group discussions on Zoom. The meeting ID will ALWAYS be "350 409 0149".
- Per FBI recommendations - I will be setting a different password on every meeting moving forward. That password will be revealed at the END of the YouTube video for that day.

CAMP FAQ's
How can we afford to pay for camp now that we have lost a few fundraisers?
Josh is asking the church to help cover the remainder of camp this summer. Josh will work with you directly to ensure that everyone is able to attend while also having worked or paid their fare share of the cost. Money will not be a hurdle to your student.
Can I sign my student up now to save their spot and cancel later?
Yes. Please register your student ASAP. The church will allow you to drop your student up to two weeks before camp starts (Sunday, July 19th). You have plenty of time to see how things pan(demic) out and make your final decision then.
Isn't it possible that things don't get better before August?
Yes. If things do not improve, the church will cancel our trip to Snowbird in early July.
What if Snowbird cancels their camps like Lifeway did?
In the event that Snowbird is cancelled as well, the youth leadership will get back together to discuss what other options we have for our students -- and especially our seniors.
