Hey T-REXers,

This week we are showcasing those in the T-REX community who have stepped up in BIG ways to combat COVID-19! Bravo to these T-REXers:
  • Adalo is leading the #NoCodeConnectsUs Challenge, a competition to encourage others to build apps aimed at helping people navigate the COVID-19 pandemic. Adalo offers a no code necessary app builder, which makes building an app as easy as making a PowerPoint slide. Learn more or start building your own app idea now.

  • Anheuser-Busch, a founding T-REX Sponsor, has shifted production to include hand sanitizer, has donated $5mil to the American Red Cross, and is supporting CurbsideSTL, an effort to highlight local takeout restaurants and retail businesses open during the COVID-19 outbreak.

  • Arch Grants has created the Arch Grants Relief Fund, which will provide immediate funding relief via non-dilutive grants to Arch Grants Founders. Previous Arch Grants recipients should be in contact with the Arch Grants Team about program application details.

  • Chris Kontes of Balto Software put together a Missouri Tech Talent Help List. This database is designed to help both job seekers find their next position and for employers to have direct access to talented Missourians. If you are either hiring or looking for a new career during this time, head over to this Talent Help List.

  • DowntownSTL, a founding T-REX partner, has offered $5K grants via the Gateway Resilience Fund for small businesses within Downtown St. Louis CID boundaries. (please note that at the time of this email, Gateway Resilience Fund applications are currently suspended due to application volume)

  • FocalCast will be offering 1 hour free on their virtual market research platform to help companies transition to staying-at-home. (You can learn more about this in the next episode of T-REX BYTES, our new podcast where you'll get little bites about what's happening in the T-REX startup community!)

  • Food Pedaler has ramped up delivery service for local restaurants shifting to to-go only, and now offers contactless delivery.

  • The Missouri Small Business Development Center is offering hands-on assistance with SBA Disaster Loan applications.

  • Timothy Siems of OGSystems has thoughtfully organized meetings with members of the St. Louis Geospatial Ecosystem alongside T-REX's Mark Tatgenhorst to find ways to partner geospatial efforts to tackle problems amid the COVID-19 pandemic. His team at OGSystems have developed a prototype platform to help pair hospitals in need of Personal Protective Equipment and local manufacturers who have shifted production.

  • The Regional Data Alliance has built stlresponse.org, a dashboard to streamline news, resources, & data surrounding COVID-19 in St. Louis.

  • Schnucks, a T-REX Sponsor, has donated $500,000 to the St. Louis Regional Response Fund, provided bonuses to all qualified employees, expanded health benefits, increased safety precautions, and is providing employees with no-cost local meals and snacks to re-fuel and hydrate during breaks.

  • The St. Louis Development Corp. & St. Louis Economic Development Partnership, both founding T-REX Partners, have joined forces to offer the Small Business Resource Fund, a $5K zero-interest loan program for small businesses in the city of St. Louis and St. Louis County.
