BUSINESS AS USUAL
Several of our chamber members want to communicate that they are open for business as usual. (If you want to add your info to future "Take 5" newsletters, let the chamber know.)
NEW INFO THIS WEEK
Print Management is a print broker located in the Penn Brewery building that can manage any professional printing project that you have. They work with many local printers to find the best quality and price for your job. They'd like to communicate that direct mail to residences is a good option right now, as more people have the time and interest to read the mail received at their homes.
Minuteman Press is part of a program called Bounce Back Pittsburgh that offers free safety posters and a listing of local business information. More information HERE. Fill out the form at the bottom of the page to submit your company’s special offer or supportive message for publishing on the site at no charge. Just upload your logo and the message or offer, and they’ll publish your message in the appropriate category. Your listing will be published for free and you can order your posters via safe delivery if you like.
FROM LAST WEEK
Urban Impact programming has been temporarily suspended, but their Urban Missionaries have been leveraging their relationships in the Northside community to deliver acts of service to the vulnerable children and families they serve. The page HERE includes more information about what they have been doing and of their goal of performing 14,000 acts of service in the month of April.
City of Asylum Bookstore has a fantastic selection of books and other carefully-curated media. Their inventory is available to purchase online, with free shipping for orders over $25. Right now, buying books from City of Asylum is a great way to help other Northside neighborhood organizations as well, while also supporting your local non-profit community bookstore. By entering the corresponding code at the time of checkout, 15% of your purchase is donated to another great Northside organization! (Mattress Factory Museum: MATTRESS, Children's Museum Pittsburgh: CHILDREN, Light of Life Rescue Mission: LIGHTOFLIFE, Northside Community Food Pantry: FOODBANK).
Choice Restorative Medicine is considered an essential business for acute and symptomatic patients at this time. So that they can lighten the load on urgent cares and ERs with back pain patients, they are still open to see patients on a reduced schedule. New and current patients can call the office at 412-364-9699 to speak to a doctor or get more information.
