The world's biggest food company has won over a Democratic trade and agriculture lobbyist.
Hanna Abou-El-Seoud joined Nestle this month as a government-affairs manager. The Swiss conglomerate disclosed just north of $1 million on federal lobbying last year through its U.S. subsidiary.
Abou-El-Seoud comes from lobbying firm Gordley Associates, where she lobbied on trade and ag issues and concurrently served as an American Soybean Association lobbyist. She is a former Democratic aide to the Senate Agriculture Committee.
