Hanna Abou-El-Seoud joined Nestle this month as a government-affairs manager. The Swiss conglomerate disclosed just north of $1 million on federal lobbying last year through its U.S. subsidiary. Abou-El-Seoud comes from lobbying firm Gordley Associates, where she lobbied on trade and ag issues and concurrently served as an American Soybean Association lobbyist. She is a former Democratic aide to the Senate Agriculture Committee. Some people and organizations who "caught our eye" last week:
