April 22, 2020, marks the 50th anniversary of Earth Day, and what better way to come together than to celebrate and protect our planet together. After all, it is the one thing that connects us, no matter what.

Founded in 1970 by activist groups, Earth Day is now an annual, global event to raise awareness about our natural environment, the threats posed by a changing climate, and the actions we can take to address and mitigate the impacts on our communities. To learn more about the history of year day or how you can help the environment visit Earthday.Org

Here are some fun activities you help you enjoy Earth Day.

It's exciting to see some of the fantastic approaches our community members, companies, and teams take to be environmentally friendly in their work.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR EFFORTS!

The trash might not be yours, but the planet is! Take action this week and pick up a bag of trash in your neighborhood, park, or favorite place. This activity is a wonderful way to teach your kids about taking personal responsibility for our planet. Plus, you'll get some exercise and fresh air, while practicing safe social distancing.

Send us a photo of what you collected and we'll send you a reusable straw for your efforts! More importantly, you will have contributed to the care of our planet and the spaces you enjoy most! #GreatGlobalCleanup
