More time at home has sparked a growing interest in gardening. The concept of a straw bale garden is discussed with Larry Meiller of NPR's weekly news show Garden Talk. They talk about a popular, easy method of growing plants with the inventor of straw bale planting.

We love Sam Siftin and the New York Times cooking section. The author takes a timeout with NPR’s Fresh Air to discuss making dinners at home living with family during the coronavirus epidemic. “We're left with great ideas of a fun story and a knowledgeable takeaway about how families communicate through food,” says Sam. It's excellent to listen at roughly 35 minutes, now that we have time to enjoy intelligent conversations.
