A VOICE FOR WHALES
On Tuesday, April 7, Pacific Whale Foundation hosted a LIVE watch party for the feature-length biopic A Voice for Whales, created by Selket Kaufman and premiered during our 2020 World Whale Film Festival. Thousands of viewers have enjoyed the film, many of whom have shared their stories about our late Founder and Director Greg Kaufman, the fight to end whaling 40 years ago and the inspiration that they feel when experiencing a humpback whale. We are proud to share the link here for all.

BONUS FEATURE: Listen to PWF Podcast #2 for a talk-story with the director HERE

5 DOLLAR FUNDRAISER
We are fortunate to have an online, regularly engaged audience of more than 250,000 individuals. Because now is not the time to be asking for major gifts, we're imagining a moment where each supporter simply donated $5. This would allow our Research, Education and Conservation programs to thrive through this uncertain time. If you are able, we hope you join this exciting vision of ours:

COMING SOON!
KEIKI WHALEWATCH
Since its inception, Keiki Whalewatch has introduced over 20,000 students to the wonders of whalewatching. Learn more from Robyn in this overview.
OUR OCEANS STILL NEED US
While you may not be able to offer your patronage in person right now,  you can still show support! Shop online at our Ocean Store, purchase a Gift Certificate, think about ADOPT’ing a marine mammal, becoming a Member or making a charitable contribution to our Foundation.
AT-HOME ACTIVITY
Today's RETHINK lesson gives you a fun activity to engage in after you clean out that drawer or closet you've been meaning to. Do you have shirts that you've outgrown? Perhaps you really like a design on an old t-shirt but it happens to have a giant stain. Well, today you can upcycle those t-shirts and create your own reusable bag! PWF Conservation Coordinator Shelby and friend Lila take you step by step through the process of RETHINKing those old shirts and hopefully inspire you to think of new ways to reuse an item instead of adding it to the waste stream. Enjoy!
