Our online wine shop is buzzing at the moment, lots of wine coming through and we're delivering ourselves pretty much every day, so good to see some familiar faces at the door. This week we've got incoming bombs from Frank Cornelissen, Latta Vino, Jauma and a few more of our very favourite producers. The selection is turning over very quickly so keep your eye on our instagram (@actofwine) for a more timely look at what's hitting the site. FRANK IS BACK
Frank Cornelissen, the Belgian who put Mount Etna on the natural wine map, has been made an icon by rappers and somms alike. But you will still find him on the side of the volcano sporting polar fleece and a pair of secateurs, doing the lord's work. The wines are modern classics and we're pretty excited to be receiving a huge drop of his Etna wines this week, including Susucaru Rosso, a bunch of single crus and the inimitable MAGMA.

LISANNE VAN SON
These are some stunning wines from a new producer in Australia who has been making wine with some of our favourites, namely Jauma and Borachio. Lisanne is a Dutch sommelier turned winemaker who started apprenticing in the Loire in 2013 with some legends such as Noella Morantin, Tony Bainbridge and Bertrand Jousset. She and her partner Benjamin began making the own wine in France in 2016, but after working a few vintages in the Adelaide Hills she has started an Australian venture, Boaz.
These wines are made with fruit from Mount Compass (SA) and raised in the shed of Mark and Alicia from Borachio. Under Mark's watchful eye (and with a bit of his incredible Savagnin in the PS) Lisanne has managed to bottle two ripping wines, with zero additions and seriously minimal intervention.
We've just restocked on an all time favourite, from the lush volcanic shores of Lago di Bolsena in Lazio, Le Coste's Litrozzo. A Sangiovese dominant blend with a bit of Montepulciano and Merlot, the Rosso is the classic 1 litre wine tube and always defies logic how it disappears faster than a regular size bottle. Perhaps the perfect isolation wine. Che buono.

We've gone from recommending wines to our customers in shops to spilling hot 7-11 coffee in our laps while trying to read the Gregory's. We've added Tuesdays into the mix so now we're delivering every afternoon except Sunday and Mondays. If you're within 15km of Melbourne CBD and order before 1pm you'll get the wine before dinner time FREE.

We have from the outset prided ourselves on having the best monthly subscription wine service in the game. We take this so seriously that each and every month we convene a panel of expert wine industry folk around a cheese board at Sam's house for a tasting selection panel. No punches are pulled, frankly it's brutal. So the wines that go in our monthly packs are certified FIRE.
