The U.S. Department of the Treasury launched a web portal to allow eligible state, local, and tribal governments to receive payments to help offset the costs of their response to the COVID-19 outbreak.

Through the Coronavirus Relief Fund, the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act provides for payments to governments navigating the impact of COVID-19.

Governments eligible for payments must submit payment information and required supporting documentation through the web portal no later than 11:59 PM EDT on April 17, 2020.
