APRIL ZI DISTRICT 4 MEMBERSHIP NEWS

Happy Spring Zonta International District 4 members!
This has been a very interesting last couple of months! I am sure we have all learned a little bit more about ourselves. We can take this opportunity to learn something new, pick up a hobby we haven’t had time for, keep in contact with family and friends we haven’t seen for a while… even use the postal service with some old fashion letter writing to those we know that aren’t on the internet. I am sure we have all thought about all the things we can be doing at home: clean the garage, rid of clothes we haven’t worn in decades, work in the yard and stay connected with our Zonta friends.
I wanted to update you on a few things concerning Zonta International District 4. We continue to work in the District as I am sure your club is doing the same. This is a busy time of year for Zonta! Dues, election of officers, Installation/Induction ceremonies, budgets, FR, forming new committees.
Please remember:
- Zonta International and District 4 Dues are due on June 1, 2020. Club presidents received a mailing from Zonta International last week. This is very important to complete on time. Your club wants to be in good standing to vote on ZI Board and ZI Bylaws and Resolutions that will happen even though Convention has been cancelled. If you have any questions, please contact your President, Area Director or myself.
- We were unable to meet face to face for Area Spring Workshops. Register today for Zonta’s Leadership Program with Kathleen Douglass, ZI Leadership Development Chair. E News was sent earlier this week with all the information including registration.
- Schedule your GoToMeeting for your club or board meeting. Contact D4 Communications at communications@zontadistrict4.org. There is also a calendar on the District 4 Website under communications committee to help you with your planning.
- If you know of any Zonta member who does not receive the District 4 E News, please have them send their current email to D4 Communications. They will be added to District 4 membership email roster.
- I would be honored to attend one of your online meetings. I am also available to conduct an Installation and/or Induction Ceremony.
- Please take a look at the Zonta International and District 4 websites. (zonta.org, zontadistrict4.org) There is a lot of information available to you.
