Help Us Complete the Photo Directory!

We're starting out with photos for 102 of our 328 members, just from Linda's files.

How about taking a look through your own photo collection to see if you have any we could use?  In the process, you'll be reliving some fun pickleball times and heightening your anticipation for when we can all play again.

Click on "Help us with still-needed photos" for a list of the members we still need photos of.  Use the form to email us any you have.  You can also submit a replacement for a photo already in the directory.  Just please only send pickleball-related photos – taken on court or court side, or at an SCPA event.

A Few Suggestions for Other At-home Pickleball Activities

DO try these at home.

Read a Pickleball Thriller.  Today (April 14) only, Stephen Poustay, of the Hall of Fame Pickleball Club in Canton, OH, is making his book, 0-0-Dead—A Pickleball Murder Mystery available for free download. You can read it on any e-reader:  your Kindle, iPad, smartphone or computer.  Stephen originally released the whodunnit in serialized form last October to December, as a as a gift to his local club. It promised to be a fun read with characters we’re all likely to recognize.
Watch a Pickleball Quarantine Music Video.  Created April 10 by the pickleball addicts at Jigsaw Health in Scottdale, AZ, the video combines 180 video clips from 61 people.  View it here.
Do Pickleball Drills at Home. Check out this video by Simone Jardim, 2017 USAPA Nationals women’s singles champion.  She created it on March 22 with current stay-at-home orders in mind.
Draft Your Application for Dillon's Parks & Rec Committee.  Okay, maybe this one's not that fun, but you'd be doing pickleball peeps a real service.  The Town of Dillon is asking for letters of interest and qualifications (email Adrienne Stuckey, astuckey@townofdillon.com) by April 30.  This advisory committee meets first Monday of the month at 5:30 PM in Dillon Town Hall.  We have a lot at stake; dedicated pickleball courts in the town plan are being threatened by an Ice Castles proposal that would upend a large part of the park.  Two openings; only one requires residency.
