Overheard at a February 2020 "Conversation in the Public Square"
on climate change hosted by Red River Valley Climate Action:
The woman who helped move chairs into a circle at the Moorhead Center Mall spoke in a faux whisper –
“That man sitting at the table over there says he’s already made up his mind about climate change,” she said. “He seemed pretty grumpy about it, too.”
Another member of the circle piped up without a thought:
“Well, tell him climate change has already decided about him, too.”
