This morning, the Marin County Board of Supervisors unanimously selected CLAM and our partner, Eden Housing, to rehabilitate the former Coast Guard neighborhood into affordable homes!
This is not a vote just for CLAM & Eden, but for the community itself...all of you!
Thank you West Marin for standing strong, sharing your dreams and hoping for this housing to come alive. Since 2014, we have been striving for this opportunity to revive the Coast Guard neighborhood to support the housing needs and vitality in Point Reyes Station.
Thank you to a vast roster of heroes, including over 600 petition signers and letter writers, and over 20 community organizations that voiced support for our bid. This is a win for our whole community, achieved through collective action. We are honored and humbled by your unwavering support, and thrilled about what we will accomplish together.
We want to give a special shout-out to Supervisor Dennis Rodoni and the Marin County Board of Supervisors, the County team, and Congressman Jared Huffman for sustained leadership in securing this opportunity.
We are excited to roll up our sleeves for the next phase, which will include working to refine the project vision with you.
Now is a time to take a breath, "be together" and share our joy! We invite you to join us for a virtual gathering this Friday April 17th at 5:00 pm to celebrate this victory together and hear what it means for the community.
