As a reminder, applications are due Thursday, April 30 for coalitions that would like to apply for our first round of program offerings through Accelerator 2.0. Trauma Informed Communities: How Trauma Impacts Ourselves, Our Communities and Our Response to COVID-19
(Wednesday April 22, 10:30am-12pm; register here).
Trauma is a public health crisis that is felt in our communities. As the world goes through the collective trauma of COVID-19, it has never been more important to understand trauma and how we can heal from it. This workshop will discuss the neurobiology of trauma, community trauma and inherent community resilience, how COVID-19 is impacting our levels of toxic stress, and how we can take tangible steps to heal ourselves individually and transform our organizations into trauma-responsive agencies.

This Spanish language webinar addresses the loneliness and insecurity that comes from social isolation for people in recovery and how we can take care of ourselves during this time. CA Bridge & the LAC+USC Addiction Medicine Service are offering free live online x-waiver trainings. These trainings will highlight the immediate needs of vulnerable community members during the COVID-19 pandemic. Please note: All MD, PA, NP providers can complete this training.
