"Never be so faithful to your plan that you are unwilling to consider the unexpected. Never be so faithful to your plan that you are unwilling to entertain the improbable opportunity that comes looking for you."
-- Elizabeth Warren
Hello everyone,

We hope you’re healthy and safe at home. We want to give you some moral and financial guidance support during these difficult times and also make you less anxious about money. Any questions, comments or suggestions, please email us!

Yesterday, we took our signature workshop “Intro to Investing” online. 100 of you joined me on Zoom to chat about pensions, ISAs, compound interest, inflation and risk, investment platforms and robo-advisers. Thank you for your positive feedback - it was so exciting to have you all there, albeit virtually! We will be organising another session on May 20th (tickets are £20 on Eventbrite). If you'd prefer to receive the recording and slides from yesterday, please do email me and you can also purchase it for £20.

I don’t know about you, but it has been very painful looking at my retirement account and Stocks & Shares ISA, but I know I am in it for the long term. This week, we’re talking about the impact of coronavirus on the financial markets and try to answer the ‘million-dollar question’: “should I start investing now?”.

To cheer you up, we’ve interviewed the talented Anne Ridout, entrepreneur and author of The Freelance Mum, look into the finances of a 36-year old company owner and do a round-up of the podcasts I‘ve been on, talking about… MONEY!

Please stay safe and have a good day!
