NIHR and other news
New application process for COVID-19 Urgent Public Health Research
The NIHR is prioritising funding and support for COVID-19 research and the NIHR Clinical Research Network (CRN) has paused site set-up for all other studies. A single application and review process has been established for all studies, irrespective of funding source, as well as studies that require funding.
This new process will prevent duplication and ensure that the capacity of the health and care system to support research is not exceeded.
