Special: Equipping ourselves for the emotional impact

Welcome to our second weekly newsletter from Robertson Cooper offering free resources to support mental health and wellbeing during the Covid-19 pandemic.

This week's edition includes a personal message from Sir Cary Cooper and a practical toolkit to help you and your employees to build resilience, adding to the resources that we released last week.   If you missed last week's newsletter you can find everything here on our Covid-19 Mental Health and Wellbeing Resources page.

A message from our Founding Director, Sir Cary Cooper

Robertson Cooper’s Founding Director, Sir Cary Cooper, has been one of the media’s most in-demand commentators since the start of the pandemic.

Here, Cary discusses how both employers and employees can find resilience in an incredibly difficult time, with guidance on physical and mental health, and how we can remain socially connected despite the circumstances.

Equip yourself and your people to manage their emotions and maintain their resilience

As business psychologists and wellbeing experts we know that one of the legacies of the pandemic will be great emotional strain. We’ve drawn on our 20 years of experience in the science of mental health and wellbeing to produce this FREE comprehensive toolkit to help employees manage their emotions and maintain their personal resilience.
Adapted from our Personal Resilience training programme, the toolkit uses our free i-resilience report as a basis to support you and your employees in developing resilience, and is full of exercises and tips.

The toolkit is free for all and is designed specifically for developing resilience during the Covid-19 crisis.

We encourage you to use this right across your organisation and really hope it helps you and your colleagues stay well in these challenging times!

This video is helpful background knowledge to support your employees in using the free toolkit and i-resilience report included as part of the resources in this newsletter.
