FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
APRIL 8, 2020

Virginia Victims Fund Office remains closed until further notice in an effort to promote the health and safety of our employees and the people we serve.

During this time, all VVF employees are teleworking and the majority of our services are fully operational, such as:

  • Our website and WebFile / Provider Portal remain operational
  • Our Customer Contact Center is still available for calls at 1-800-552-4007
  • Claimant applications and awards are continuing to be processed
Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, VVF is not able to process any mailed correspondence during this period. This includes applications, medical records, incident reports, checks or payments. Once the office is reopened, these items will be processed.

Applications that are submitted via WebFile will continue to be processed.  Please include (upload) any documentation to support expenses with the application.  (For Example, Police Reports, medical bills, etc, if available). This will support faster claims processing.

Please note:   VVF will accept applications without the Notary Acknowledgment completed. However, unsigned applications will be held until the signature page is received.

VVF will continue to work closely with stakeholders in accordance with the Commonwealth of Virginia and Commission guidelines and recommendations.

Stay safe and healthy!

If you have any questions, please contact us at 1-800-552-4007 or VVFOutreach@virginiavictimsfund.org.
