Monitoring the Crisis in Real Time

The American Voices Project (AVP) is expanding its mission to monitor the effects of the crisis on everyday life. By adapting its “patented” face-to-face interview to a new remote mode, the AVP is able to continue delivering the country’s first nationally-representative study based on immersive conversations about everyday life. In partnership with a coalition of Federal Reserve banks, the AVP will be providing real-time reporting on how the country is faring, with a special focus on people of color, the low-income population, and other groups that are disproportionately affected by the crisis.

Join the American Voices Project!

The American Voices Project invites Stanford undergraduates to apply for summer research fellowships. The AVP's simple purpose: To listen to people and understand their successes and struggles, their hopes and dreams, and their ideas for making our country work better.
