Dear FPC Community,

Our local mission partner, Project Vida, operates several clinics in El Paso. Yesterday, Project Vida's Co-Director, Rev. Bill Schlesinger, informed me that they had run out of masks, which they are required to provide as a preventative measure to any patients who come into the clinic.

Bill's request, and mine, is for anyone in our church community who has sewing or crafting skills (of any level) to help by making masks and donating them to Project Vida. The CDC has provided three approved methods, two of which require no sewing at all. The link to the patterns is:

https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/prevent-getting-sick/diy-cloth-face-coverings.html.

Project Vida sees around 30 patients per day, so they need as many masks as you are willing to make. If you can help with this critical need, please begin immediately--you can mail the masks directly to Project Vida's physical address at 3612 Pera Ave, El Paso, TX 79905. If you have any questions, or need someone to come pick up the masks and deliver them, please contact me via email or cell phone. And please share this with anyone you think could help. Thanks in advance,

Pastor Neal
