Well done to all our clubs and players on a brilliant season. It may seem like a dream, but just over a month ago we had our week of finals and they were spectacular.
Personally I am dreaming of when I can stand out in the middle on a sunny day and umpire a game of cricket, watching the players take wickets, make runs and just have a ball.
At this strange time in our lives, I hope it brings you some joy to remember the highlight of the season for yourself and your team. What was the best thing that happened during the season? One of mine was the first game of the season when one of my players who was absolutely and completely new to the game took a wicket. She was scared to even bowl let alone contemplate having some success with the ball. Those confidence building moments are gold.
But that is not the reason I am sending this email to all our clubs and supporters. In this email you will find a pre-recorded All Girls Cricket Presentation for the competition award winners. In line with other sporting events prior to lockdown, there is no audience.
We hope that later in the year we will be able to bring all the award winners together and celebrate their accomplishments in style.

Planning for next season.............
We will have to wait and see what happens but in lieu of the annual AGCC planning day we will send out a comprehensive survey for feedback.
We already have some ideas for some tweaks to our competition to keep it going from strength to strength and also want to know your thoughts.
Stay tuned for how we make this happen.
THANK YOU so much for all that you do for our great competition. We hope there have been plenty of smiles, laughter and personal bests. We couldn't do this without you.
