Adoramus te, Christe,
et benedicimus tibi,
quia per sanctam crucem tuam
redemisti mundum.
Qui passus es pro nobis,
Domine, Domine, miserere nobis.

We adore Thee, O Christ,
and we bless Thee,
who by Thy Holy Cross
hast redeemed the world.
Thou, who hast suffered death for us,
O Lord, O Lord, have mercy on us.

The programme includes hymns that will be sung by the CL choir and readings from the Passion and by Charles Péguy.

Follow the live-stream at 10 a.m. on Friday morning, April 10, on the diocesan YouTube Channel (link below)

Way of the Cross 2020
Guided Meditation on the
Seven Last Words of Jesus from the Cross

As Jesus lay on the Cross, He uttered seven final words beginning with “Father, forgive them for they know not what they do” and ending with “Father, into your hands, I commend my spirit”. It has become part of Catholic Tradition to meditate on these seven words on Good Friday.

This year, St. Luke Parish is offering you for the first time a 40-minute meditation on the seven last words of Jesus. The reflection will be in English, French and Spanish. The total time of the meditation in all three languages combined is 40 minutes. The meditation will be animated by Deacon Brian Cordeiro, Acolyte Tony Rettino and diaconal candidate Rudolfo Zunino.

We pray that you will be able to accompany Jesus in his final hours on the Cross to demonstrate your faith in the one who died for you and won for you eternal life.

Please join the meditation on Good Friday, April 10 at 1 p.m. via the parish link below:
