Good Afternoon!

Have you been imagining that you have COVID-19 symptoms? Does any change in your breathing freak you out? How about back pain or feeling like what you’re eating isn’t as tasty as it used to be?

With so many COVID-19 happenings and closures, countless Americans have become even more stressed and anxious than usual. Self-isolating and social distancing are showing themselves to be helpful in slowing the spread of the virus, but at home, some people are dealing with “psychosomatic symptoms.” These are symptoms or sensations that people think are caused by the virus but are actually being caused unconsciously by their stress and/or other emotional issues.

In this week’s blog by Dr. Anna Schrack, “Psychosomatic Symptoms During the COVID-19 Pandemic,” you’ll be introduced to some insightful information about these symptoms and what you can do to alleviate them.
