What does Dolly's life look like right now?
Senior year is done for my daughter, and we are home together during this time. My work (full time day job) is very busy so we are having to learn to share the house during the day. Although missing my friends and family, I'm loving the extra time I get to spend with her before she leaves for college!
Easter we decided to forgo any festivities but she made me breakfast, we did a zoom call with my mom and my favorite Aunt, then we made our own perfumes. I have to say my daughter has a real knack for it, me not so much, but we had fun.
Dawn and I are still meeting once a week on FaceTime to have a couple glasses of wine and talk about our lives, our jobs, and of course ARTisans of Loudoun and our own craft businesses.
I will be the first to admit I have not been using my time wisely enough on my jewelry business. I have been finding plenty of shows to watch, projects around the house to complete and other activities but I seem to be struggling to get motivated for my business.
Anyone else having that issue? I am hoping that I can get "back on the horse" by doing a little bit here and there, so decided I would start with sending out this newsletter with all of the ideas that we came up with. Hopefully it helps both of us!
