Important Date Changes  

The deadlines for the following have been extended:
  • Last Day to withdraw from a course: April 17th
  • Last Day to apply to have a course converted to Pass/NoPass: April 17th
  • Last day to apply for grade forgiveness: April 17th
*NEW* Student Emergency Fun

In an effort to provide assistance during the COVID-19 pandemic, students are encouraged to use the Student Advocacy portal to apply for all financial resources available. Students may fill out the application by using this link
*NEW* PA/NP Grading Option

You have received an email listing times that your advisor is holding Zoom info sessions regarding PA/NP. We recommend attending one before you make a decision about PA/NP. Additional information can be found here. The PA/NP Form can be found here.
*NEW* Registration for Autumn 2020 is Now Open

Please check buckeyelink to determine when your registration window opens. It is important to schedule as soon as you are able to in order to ensure that you are able to register for any and all courses that you need to complete your major. 
*NEW* Take a Survey to Help Sustainability Education and a Capstone Group!

The Sustainability Education and Learning Committee is designing a sustainability education web portal to help students locate academic programs of interest and to showcase the variety of options to study sustainability at Ohio State. The web tool will make all sustainability-related academic information across different departments within the university cohesive and available in one place. A senior student capstone project team has designed a survey to solicit student feedback on current sustainability academic web resources and how to make them the most accessible. This survey will take no longer than 3 minutes. Your responses will help improve sustainability education for all current and prospective Ohio State students. All participants will be entered to win one of two $10 Amazon gift cards.

*NEW* Ohio EPA Scholarship Deadline Extended

The deadline for Ohio EPA Scholarships has been extended to June 1 this year, to make it easier to compile transcripts and letters while not in residence on campus.  They've also doubled the size of the scholarships, in recognition of today’s tuition costs. Click here to apply.

*NEW* U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Internship

This is a paid internship with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. The student would work on Natural Resource Damage Assessment projects -  and so would learn about environmental policy, environmental law, and ecological toxicology - primarily aquatic impacts. If interested please contact Deborah Millsap at the Ohio Ecological Services Field Office.
*NEW* Help Amplify the Power of Students for the 2020 Elections

The Student PIRGs is hiring graduating seniors and students looking to take time off of school to be full-time organizers for the 2020 Elections. As a full-time organizer with the Student PIRGs’ New Voters Project, your responsibilities will include:
  • Run a non-partisan voter registration and turnout campaign in a campus community. Campus Organizers recruit and train a team of volunteers to help register 18-29 year olds, collect pledges to vote, and contact all of these young people to turn out the vote on Election Day.
  • Educate students and train new leaders. Campus Organizers teach citizenship and organizing skills. Campus Organizers also oversee an internship program, through which students can earn academic course credit for their work to boost youth voter engagement.
Build a coalition. Campus Organizers work with student volunteers and interns to build a diverse, invested coalition of organizations and people to boost youth voter turnout. For more information and to apply click here.
