The Illinois Soybean Association (ISA) has re-elected Doug Schroeder (IALP '90) as their Chairman. Doug shares that he is optimistic about the strategic new plan that he believes will serve the interests of Illinois soybean producers. Doug is among those producers, growing corn and soybeans on his farm in Mahomet. You can read more about Doug and his plans for the ISA moving forward here

Brenda Matherly (IALP ' 08), Illinois Farm Bureau Director of Local Government, recently wrote an article featuring an online resource for rural community members, leaders, and businesses. The Rural Development Resource Guide is a database showing funding and programs available for rural development. It is provided by the Illinois Institute for Rural Affairs and the Governor’s Rural Affairs Council. You can learn more about the guide here
