2 Days Left to Apply
Deadline August, 6th, 2020

Apply Now to Become a 2020 NCUIH Youth Council Member
On behalf of the National Council of Urban Indian Health (NCUIH), we thank Native youth who have thus far applied and for those who spread the word for applications to NCUIH's 3rd class of National Urban Indian Youth and Young Adult Advisory Council (“Youth Council”) members. In light of the COVID-19 crisis and pandemic, NCUIH is offering Native youth more time by providing a new application deadline for the 2020 Youth Council, now due by midnight 11:59 PM ET on August 6th, 2020
                        ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The National Council of Urban Indian Health (NCUIH) invites applications from young adult ambassadors (ages 18-24) located in our urban communities and surrounding areas to participate in NCUIH’s National Urban Indian Youth and Young Adult Advisory Council (“Youth Council”).

Youth Council members will promote awareness of substance misuse, trauma, suicide prevention, mental health, and other co-occurring wellness related topics among peers on a local and national level. All project-related activities will be created by and targeted towards American Indian and Alaska Native youth and young adults living in urban communities.

Youth and Young Adults must submit a Youth Council Application and a supporting Adult Reference. Applicants also have the option to obtain a Peer Reference or an additional adult reference.

Please take a look at our Youth Council FAQs website for more information.

We appreciate your understanding and support!
