We’ve had an exciting month as our family here at Intrepid Studios continues to grow, and we’re still hiring more folks to join us on this journey. It’s been a joy to share our progress towards Alpha One, which will begin late this Fall 2020 with our Braver of Worlds and above backers as well as Intrepid Pack holders. Interviews Galore!
Our Founder and Creative Director Steven Sharif was an impromptu guest on a few live streams, and answered a ton of questions for folks who are new to our glorious community - there are also quite a few nice gems in there for those of you who are long-time fans! Live AMA on Reddit & Twitch
Thanks to these above interviews sparked by a very thorough video from our wonderful Content Creator, TheLazyPeon, we had an increasingly large number of new folks join our glorious community! Gathering & Dungeon Design
During our July Development Update Live Stream, we showcased some gameplay footage of gathering while talking about harvesting and crafting, and did a fly-through of a dungeon while discussing what folks can expect from these encounters, how loot works, and much more!

FX, Character & Environment Art Updates
Any time one of our artists breathes life into something and it gets placed in the world, we get excited to share it with you! During our July Development Update Live Stream, we highlighted some new particle effects for abilities, a monster attack, and waterfalls. Our character team had more creatures for you to see and some sweet armor, and our environment team brought the Dünir to the broadcast along with some calming seaside displays. We hope you enjoy seeing the world of Verra come alive with each new update!
