JOIN US FOR OUR THIRD
EMERGING TOPIC SERIES SESSION OF 2020

Thursday, August 13 | 12PM-1PM | Zoom

In recent months we have seen the world change. One of those changes has been more frequent and authentic discussions around racial disparities being held in both public and private spaces. Our third Emerging Topic Series session of the year asks, "How can Milwaukee, which continues to lack adequate affordable housing and robust transit service, progress to benefit all of its residents?"

Join UEDA and the Southeastern Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission (SEWRPC) for a presentation on the potential impacts of VISION 2050 land use recommendations on the Region’s minority populations, low-income populations, and people with disabilities (environmental justice populations). Each of the VISION 2050 land use recommendations was evaluated based on the degree to which the Region’s environmental justice populations would receive a proportionate share of benefits or a disproportionate share of adverse impacts compared to the Region as a whole.

Preview the recently published Equity Analysis here.

This session is free and will take place via Zoom.
Advanced registration is required.

Closed Captioning services will be provided for this session.
If you would like to request a disability-related accommodation, please reach out to
jessica@uedawi.org by Thursday, August 5 and we will do our best to meet your needs.
