General News 

Hello members!
Just a short newsletter this week - we'll be back to our usual more newsy one next week.

What a wonderful birthday party we had last weekend - thanks so much to all of you who attended - we hope you had as great a time as we did. We'll be updating the digital marketing screen in the bar over the next week or so with all the awesome snaps we took, so look out for those. 

Birthday Drinks  - Happy Birthday to all of our August-born members - get your free drink from the bar this month - just ask our lovely bar staff when you're here next. 

Membership Cards - we've started printing and testing cards (we need to make sure the bar codes work properly and are associated with your membership account) and it's all going well. I'm printing them in order of card number starting at the lowest - so if you've got a low card number i.e. in the 100s or so, then yours will be printed before the 1000s numbers. Give us a couple of weeks to get through them all, but remember if you're heading away and plan on visiting other Clubs let us know and we'll fast track your card for you.

Motorsports Car Sales Courtesy Van

Our van operates Thursday to Sunday from 3:00pm.
Please continue to give us plenty of notice if you can that you'd like a pick up on these days - give us a call on 3478301 during opening hours, go through to the bar and book your pick up time. To get home again, we make regular announcements throughout the night when the van is leaving shortly, so you just need to get yourself out into the foyer and hop on.
For new members who don't know about this - this is a free service but we would appreciate it if you could drop a donation in the box on the bar. Thank you!

Darts News

Note our new nights - the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the month
Our next night is Thursday 6th August - all welcome! We'll get going straight after the President's speech and membership draw, so just after 7:00pm. 

Petanque News

All those who are interested in going to Napier for the Nationals in November please see Valerie Price after the notices on Thursday night so teams can be organised.
 

Golf News

Our July round was held at Springfield and the best golfer on the day was Roger McHale.
Our next round is at Te Puke on 23rd August at 10:00am.

Quiz News

 
Next month's quiz will be on Monday 10th August at 7:00pm and would be great to see you there. All welcome!

Housie News

Our next night will be Tuesday 11th August - we'd love to see some new faces - come along and give it a go!
