Welcome to our new, much fuller radio programme this autumn, Amsterdam and friends. We've also just launched Dam Daily - a morning show which brings 10 hours more live broadcasting to your local radio station. This and more below ...
DAM DAILY LAUNCHES! 🎙
So on 7 September we kicked off our new DamDaily radio slot: two hours of music, local news and chat, broadcast live every weekday morning between 09:00-11:00 (+ repeats + On Demand), produced by a growing team of Amsterdamers.
- Mondays: UvA students, Alex and Sofia
- Tuesdays: @CathyCentral & guests
- Wednesdays: Geli aka @damkitchens and newbie Margaret
- Thursday: @bleszbeats broadcasts from the far east of the city
- Fridays: Ruth Wilson wraps up the Dam Daily week
Personally I'm loving listening back to the Dam Daily repeat spots from 17:00-19:00 when I'm making the dinner or enjoying a cheeky borrel! You can dip in and listen back to Dam Daily shows, here.
PODCASTERS AND DJS
We've added slots in our evening radio programme to spotlight other audio producers from the local community: podcasters and DJs. We've got Associate Producer, Elliot Bloom, leading this initiative and if you want to submit a mix or podcast to be highlighted in this slot, just email us at info@broadcastamsterdam.nl.
AMSTERDAM KITCHEN BACK SAT 3 OCT
Season 4 of our Amsterdam Kitchen live radio show (and podcast) will be back on air on Saturday 3 October in the regular 10-12:00 slot on Saturday mornings. It will run until the start of December. We're lining up local food stories to share and special guests to interview, but there's some space for more, so send any suggestions and PR requests to info@broadcastasmterdam.nl to get on the show.
