This summer has been full of endings and anticipation of new beginnings. As we have traveled and seen many of our friends and family it has weighed heavy on my heart that we are moving away from the Midwest. This is where both of us have always called home! We've said countless goodbyes and I (Caitlin) have shed many tears as I recognized each "last." Sometimes in the midst of a season of transition I'm overwhelmed by the thought of moving our family overseas when the time comes.
BUT, each time we close a chapter and step into something new God has been so kind to us. We grieve the way friendships change when we leave, but new friendships form, and the new home begins to find a special place in our heart.
We are beyond excited as we anticipate our move to Arizona for further aviation training with Ethnos360 Aviation. We get to live near people who love the Lord and deeply know the struggles and excitement we have as we prepare to serve the Lord through missions aviation. We get to experience a new part of the country, and I am so stoked for the famous Arizona sunrises/sunsets. We get to see the Lord working in our hearts and lives as we let go of familiarity and dive into a new community.
It's confusing to grieve and celebrate all at once, but I am thankful that we don't have to walk through these emotions alone. I'm thankful for NEW MERCIES each morning - God gives us what we need each step of the way. I don't have to worry about how hard it will be to move overseas because we aren't there yet. When we get there He will be faithful in that season too.
We'd appreciate prayers in the next couple weeks as we travel back to Missouri to say our goodbyes to the state and people we've considered home for 9 years, load up the moving truck, and make the 18 hour trek to Southeastern Arizona. Next time you hear from us we should be moved in and updating you on our new address and desert life!
We once again want to thank you all for your kindness towards us, hospitality, prayers, and provision. We seriously couldn't do this without each of you pouring into us each step of the way. Please reach out if there is anything we can do for you!
In Christ,
Lance, Caitlin, & Eli Rensberger
