As a community organization, we feel it is important to ensure that everyone feels included and welcome to participate at the Makerspace - in fact, it’s part of our mission statement.  We also recognize that our members and our board of directors do not represent as broad a set of backgrounds and perspectives as they could.  We want to start an open and honest dialog with our community about the ways that we could improve, and follow up by enacting real change.

What would make the makerspace more welcoming to a more diverse group of members?
