Royal Pavilion & Museums Insider -- 31 July 2020

This week we launch Ocean Blues, a new website exploring marine and coastal life in Sussex and beyond. What can our natural science collections bring to our understanding of climate change? And what can you do to help?

We also look at an artillery display in Brighton, meet a travel writer who supported our Fine Art collections, and explain some of the thinking behind the new audio guide to the Royal Pavilion.

Our Insider newsletter has been sent weekly during lockdown. As the Royal Pavilion is now open again and we are working to reopen some of our other museums, Insider will now be sent every two weeks rather than weekly. The next issue will be with you on Friday 14 August.

Ocean Blues

What lives in the sea? What grows in the sea? How can living, thriving sealife help us limit the climate crisis?

This new website created by the team at the Booth Museum of Natural History explores marine and coastal life in the seas of Sussex and beyond. Bringing together our collections and the work of local conservationists and activists, we celebrate the seas and discover how we can protect them.
