Friends in our YCC summer care program

This week in our virtual update, we shared that our elementary and Wavecrest programs will be starting the year in distance learning. At this time, based on current guidelines we are still planning to hold in-person classes at the YCC and Primary Level. We have been planning to apply for a waiver that would allow us to open in person in the fall, but the applications are not being released at this time due to low testing capacity in Santa Cruz County. We are also hearing from many of you that you would prefer the option of distance learning. Please answer the following survey to share your plans for the fall and your family’s needs. Your feedback and input are important to us as we work to create a robust and exciting distance learning program for the fall.

Weekly Virtual Update

Our SCM Virtual Update will be held every Wednesday at 2:00 pm. This meeting will be hosted by Kim Saxton and will give you an opportunity to get the latest updates about our school and plans for next year. We ask that all questions be submitted ahead of time using the RSVP form.

Board Meeting

Due to anticipated changes coming down the road for distance learning, we feel that we will need to have a board meeting to discuss and approve changes to the budget. With the required 10 day notice, we are calling a virtual meeting for Monday, August 10th at 7 pm. Zoom link to be sent closer to that date.
