Upcoming Events
Office Hours
We will be in the office from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM on Monday, August 3rd through Friday, August 7th. On Monday, we will be in and out of meetings, so will have the phone off most of the day. Please leave a voicemail or send us an email, and we will get back to you.
On Monday, August 10th through Friday, August 21st, all SCS faculty and staff will be attending training and attending to other beginning of school activities. We will turn on the phones when we are not in attendance at these events. In the meantime, please feel free to leave us a voicemail or send us an email.
On Monday, August 24th we will be open for our normal operating hours from 7:45 AM - 4:00 PM on all school days.
Annual Fund Auction
Since our 2020 Annual Fund Dinner & Auction was cancelled due to COVID, we are having a virtual auction! Proceeds from the auction will go toward purchasing sunshades to cover our playground.
Please plan to join us on FaceBook Live via the PTF Facebook page as our PTF volunteers premier our new spirit shirts and show off all the items on our auction
All bidding will be done online via our auction app or via the auction website. More instructions will be in next week's newsletter with regard to bidding on items.
Important Dates For the Start of School
- Monday, 8/19: Welcome Back/Meet the Teacher Photo Opportunity. Gathering will be managed by state guidelines in effect at the time and details will be forthcoming.
- Monday, 8/24: First day of classes.
- Tuesday, 8/25: First day of classes for Pre-K 3 students on a Tuesday/Thursday schedule.

Uniforms
 Due to COVID-19 the Lands' End store at The Shops at Park Lane will not be opening until August 20th.
The store in Frisco is open. They are located at The Centre at Preston Ridge, 3211 Preston Rd, Frisco, Texas 75034. Their phone number is: (469)-403-2299
Lands' End is offering a 20% discount for the entire month of August and free shipping on orders placed in the store.

**All uniforms from Parker and Flynn O'Hara will meet dress code requirements.
PTF Selling Face Coverings
 The SCS PTF is selling "Buff" style face coverings. Face coverings will be required for all students when they enter the building or when they are walking about the building.
These face coverings are an optional purchase. You may use any face covering that you wish to use. Lands' End will also be offering a face mask for purchase.

2020-2021 Calendar

Please note the following changes:
1. The Ice Cream Social scheduled for Monday, August 17th has been cancelled.
2. Orientation, originally scheduled for Tuesday, August 18th, will now take place on Wednesday, August 19th as an outdoor event. More details to come!
3. The first day of classes is Monday, August 24th.
4. At this time, all other dates remain the same.
Due to COVID-19, we are unable to set dates for some of our most popular events. Those events remain on the calendar as TBA events. We will continue to monitor state guidelines in effect at the time and details will be forthcoming.

Medication Forms
Does your child take medication that will need to be kept and administered at school?
Please click here to read the medication guidelines and to print a medication release form. We cannot keep a any medication at school without medication release form signed by a doctor.
