As you've probably heard, COVID-19 cases are starting to rise again in different areas around the country (including Indiana). Governor Holcomb has paused Indiana's reopening plan in phase 4.5. There is currently a state-wide mask mandate, meaning all Hoosiers have to wear face coverings in indoor public spaces (like a grocery store or gas station), while using public transportation, and outdoors when social distancing (standing 6 ft. apart) isn't possible. Indiana will have the mask mandate until at least August 26th.
Sometimes masks aren't a lot of fun to wear, but they're really important in stopping the spread of COVID-19 germs. People can carry the virus without feeling sick or coughing, and if you're not wearing a mask you risk catching or spreading these germs. Stay safe, keep your family and friends safe, and we'll all get through this together!
