Stay Connected!

Issue 13

Hello <<First Name>>,

August is upon us this weekend. Normally a busy month for holiday makers, some going abroad and others holidaying in Ireland.

This year, it is a little different. Different is good though... so may our "Staycations" be ones where we discover treasures on our doorsteps, on our shores, hills and valleys, but most of all, may we discover the treasures within ourselves and those who we spend time with this August, whether at home or away.

Stay safe, travel safely and come back re-energised! It will be a busy Autumn!

Keep in touch with us, check your email for updates each weekend! Tell others about this e-letter and encourage others to sign up here so they too can be connected.

Weekend Liturgy

18th Sunday in Ordinary Time

Today in our Gospel Matthew brings us into the presence of Jesus showing a depth of compassion for those following him.  It is a moment where he shows a deep empathy with the plight of the people around him.
When people are compassionate to us, it is because we need it and usually we are deeply touched and grateful. Such is our God!
This is the charter of Christian living is that we are obliged to live such compassion also.
(adapted from a reflection on the Gospel by Fr. Kieran O’Mahony OSA www.tarsus.ie)

Tune in to the webcam before 11:30am Mass to hear the welcome.
