Rediscover your inner child.

You're never too old for an adventure!

Hi <<First Name>>,

This summer I have found myself lying on my back watching the clouds float by, much like I did when I was a kid. Allowing myself the time to daydream without a result or an agenda in mind is something that seems to have drifted away in my adult life. It wasn’t until I started sharing my experience with others that I realized that I wasn’t the only one who was revisiting activities that they enjoyed as a kid.

One of my friends went strawberry picking while another made popsicles. I was speaking to a colleague who purchased a jump rope while her friend reconnected with her childhood passion of swinging a hula hoop.

While this pandemic has been difficult in so many ways, it has also sparked a curious awareness for how we spend our days and conduct our lives.

Recently we were disappointed to hear that Cherry Island, our favourite venue for retreats, was going to be closed for the season. While the team discussed doing a retreat at a new location, I became increasingly concerned about the safety of our guests, so we have decided to imagine a new type of virtual event this year. But not just any virtual event…

A full day of fun, adventure, and self-discovery. We are brainstorming innovative ways to connect with others while getting outdoors, engaging in scavenger hunts and creative activities, all for one purpose. To answer the question, “What do you want this next year to look like?”

While there are things that are out of our control, times of change can bring incredible opportunities. We are at a crossroads and we can craft our new normal in a way that truly serves our lifestyle, those we love, and our spirit. And perhaps our inner child, who yearns for more fun and joy in our daily lives.

While we get creative and craft the ultimate virtual retreat experience, we encourage you to get highly intentional about the future that you want to create for yourself.

  • What have you discovered that you want to hold on to?
  • What needs to shift in order to make it happen?

If you would like to dive deeper, we would love for you to join us at the 2020 Ultimate YOU Retreat - Summer Camp Edition.

See you online,
