See the transformation process and witness a log becoming a sculpture firsthand.

The RCAC is looking for volunteers to support programming and operations. Whether you want to help us look to the future by becoming a Board Member, bringing programs to life by volunteering on a committee, or help with social media and website development we are interested in hearing from you!

Jenny Baillie invites the community back into her gallery and studio! 

 

Starting August 1, and running on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 12pm-5pm come see Jenny's gallery of  Acrylic Paintings on Canvas. Paintings include mountains and flowers, bear portraits, historic women and the occasional superhero!  

View and purchase original pieces and canvas prints at Jenny’s home-based Studio:  two blocks from downtown Rossland at 1633 LEROI AVENUE.  Gallery open from Noon - 5 pm on WEDNESDAY & SATURDAY - or by appointment Ph: 250 362 5519

Rossland Open Air Baazar

The City of Rossland has decided to run a bi-weekly open air bazaar this summer so that local businesses can offer their customers a safe, outdoor shopping option. The events will take place in Esling Park and on Spokane Street from 2-5pm on Wednesday August 12th and 26th.

If you wish to participate, you can go to rossland.ca/recreation and click on program registration and choose the open air bazaar. Registration is free, however all participants must provide the City with proof of liability insurance naming the City as ‘additional insured’ to join.

Looking for a fun, educational and interactive activity for your kids to enjoy this fall?


The Triple Threat Musical Theatre Intensive will no take place on Sundays starting September 13.  Suitable for kids ages 8-11 and 12-18 the intensive ends with 3 shows of Disney's The Little Mermaid Jr. 

Due to the ever-changing Covid-19 precautions and regulations we will have to be prepared to postpone our show dates. 

Register by September 1 to ensure your place! Those students 12-18 who wish to be in the main cast must register by August 21. Register your child for the fall program here.

Grants & Opportunities

The Village of Canal Flats seeks expressions of interest for a Kootenay region artist to design and construct a public art installation for the Village. This will be a first of its kind in Canal Flats, and will be located in a highly visible location. Proposal deadline August 14, 2020.
