Nigel Wade - August Artist of the Month
Nigel Wade is a watercolour artist based in Kent, who employs a somewhat unusual style for this medium that he likes to call “watercolour realism”.
His particular interest is his own take on “Hyperrealism”, the creation of highly detailed, realistic images, with a strong focus on the use of light and colour.
While he tackles a range of subjects, he is known for his naturalistic seascapes, landscapes and architectural subjects.
Nigel specialises in commissions of these subjects and in this exhibition he is highlighting his boat portrait commission service. Here is an example of one, “Lundy Gull” sailing in Chichester Harbour.
