GIDDYUP PROGRAM
We understand that this school year will create many changes and uncertainty for families. Due to this and the needs of the community, Royal Ridges will be providing a program option to help families provide some consistency for children this year. Our program will follow the Battle Ground School District calendar and will be based upon the hybrid schedule the district will be putting into place. Sign your child up for the Giddyup program on the days they are not attending school.
This program will provide some of the at home learning time to accomplish assignments from their teachers as well as some extra experiences to add enrichment for their education. This program will include fun camp activities, school assignment support time with a staff as well as educational projects and activities such as reading time, math games, art, physical activities, and some science and social studies fun.
Send your child with a lunch, a water bottle, weather appropriate clothes that can get dirty, a book to read and their weekly school assignments from their teacher, as well as school materials and directions for completing the assignments and our staff will assist your child with their schoolwork while at camp. All of our programs will follow the latest guidelines from our state and local health departments to ensure the safety of each participant. Participants will be enrolled on a monthly basis throughout the school year.

 This fall we've had to switch things up a bit, but still wanted to create a program where Girl Scouts can attend in a safe and fun way! We can have 2 Girl Scout Troops of 12 Scouts OR 3 Girl Scout Troops of 8 Scouts on the same day to maintain being able to stay with your troop the entire day while also practicing all safety measures. You will get a full days worth of activities along with lunch and dinner provided.

• Learning Fun Facts About Breeds, Coloring, Etc. of Horses

MOTHER DAUGHTER DAY
Saturday September 26th: This day long event is for mothers and their daughters who are looking to make some unforgettable memories while building a better relationship with each other. You will create a mother daughter memory craft, have horse riding time (ages 6-8 will have an arena ride with their mom while ages 9 and up will go out on a trail with their mom), enjoy the big swing, play games and all while spending quality time together. We also have a great speaker to encourage you in your relationship with your daughter. The day will start at 9am and conclude at 6pm with lunch and dinner provided.

Trail Rides: Book your private fall trail ride online! Ages 9 and up welcome.
Foster A Horse: The Foster-a-Horse Program specializes in giving first time horse owners and previous horse owners the opportunity to have a safe horse to ride and care for. You will gain experience of caring for and owning a horse for several months without the stress of shopping and buying one. Foster-a-Horse at your home or at a boarding facility from September to the end of May.
