Our research committee met in person for the first time since COVID-19. It was a pleasure to have our members around the table to discuss best practice research for the revitalisation of the Māori language. Discussions included identifying key determinants from our research projects regarding kāhui investments and the impact on revitalisation to inform further investment; and ultimately, what the restoration of the Māori language might look like in 2024 and beyond.
