Catholic Learning Online Event

The first Catholic Learning Online Event was held on Thursday 6 August via Zoom.
Kicking off at 7.30 am, a group of teachers from CEnet member dioceses participated in a workshop run by Britney Davis and Dave Palmer from Lucid Education in Utah.

Participants explored samples of student work created with Lucidchart and Lucidpress, with examples available from primary and secondary school classrooms. Participants also had the opportunity to work on mini projects using both Lucidchart and Lucidpress, by selecting from a broad range of templates designed to support learning and teaching needs. The event was rounded off with an opportunity to participate in a Q&A session.

A number of dioceses have the opportunity to register the event with NESA/TQI and teachers who completed the evaluation will have their participation details provided to their dioceses for completion of the NESA/TQI PD  registration process.

Comments from participants in the event:

  • Understand ways to help students create in the classroom.
  • Develop a ready-to-use activity to use with their class.

Following the event a recording will be made available in the Catholic Learning Online website.
