Summer Garden Festival

Good Morning,
We hope this email finds you well and able to start visiting some wonderful Scottish gardens. The DSG team has been busy this summer supporting gardens across the country to deliver virtual garden tours, tutorials and demonstrations on floral crowns, bouquet tying and even a summer garden cocktail! The response has been incredibly positive not only in Scotland, but across the world as many of you tuned into our virtual events.
The Virtual Garden Festival runs until August 15, so there is still time to enjoy the final events or catch-up on any events you may have missed. New events have been added too! Click here for the full event list.
For those who are able, many of our members have now opened their gates and welcome you to visit the gardens. There are many activities you can enjoy this month, including Gordon Castle's garden events- read more below!

Gordon Castle Flower Weekend and Fruit Festival

Have you visited Gordon Castle Walled Garden? It is certainly worth another visit for the Big Flower Weekend running 15th-16th August. This weekend event will give you the chance to admire the renowned, beautiful cut flower beds. You'll also be shown annual goods for cutting and perennials, as well as how to cut and condition your flowers. Can't make the event? Don't worry! It will be broadcasted on the Gordon Castle Garden's Instagram. You can learn more about attending this event here.

Gordon Castle will also be hosting a Fruit Festival 29th August. The festival offers a chance to see all 275 fruit trees and the many different varieties of apples, pears, and plums. There is also a dedicated soft fruit area which includes some of the best Scottish Autumn raspberries. Click here to learn more about this event.
