President's Update
Cricket is back and pre-season starts tomorrow!
I look forward to seeing all of your faces at Revolution Sports. It's been a very busy few months off the field for committee ensuring we are reading to tackle the season ahead, with a lot of new things this season. We now have a YouTube channel, KlubPro for our social media and a brand new T20 kit.
This past weekend saw two current players tie the knot. On behalf of the club I'd like to congratulate Tim Kendall and his partner Alana, as well as Deven Vaswani and Larisha. Further congratulations to Jarrod Sinclair and his new fiancé Alexandra!

The year of 2020 feels like it’s been one to take away so many different opportunities for many people, be it employment or travel or even at times the chance to leave the house. But for our club as we approach the start of our season we arrive at a moment of opportunity.
When we take a look around the world and across the country we find ourselves in a very fortunate position to be getting ready to head into a cricket season, many won’t even be contemplating the possibility. What a privileged position to find ourselves in.
Our opportunities don’t just stop with the freedom to play cricket, for the first time in a long time we are a 1st grade club. An achievement we didn’t get to celebrate last season nor was there any promotion party to remember. But for the many who have been dedicated, committed and put in hours of hard work over the past few season I’m sure there was a moment of sitting down to appreciate such an achievement. It’s something we should be very proud of, an opportunity to take hold of.
This season we carry the responsibilities of the two opportunities presented to us; playing cricket and returning to 1st grade. It’s an exciting adventure to be part of, but one not to be wasted. So my encouragement to all, whatever your ambitions are this season is to prepare well. Engage and participate in as many sessions over the next six weeks, so when round 1 arrives we seize our opportunity.

At our AGM we announced our partnership with KlubPro which we will be using for our social media content creation and team selection. KlubPro integrates directly with MyCricket and Facebook Messenger to check player availability and notify players of their team selection and relevant information. Player photos will be taken at pre-season and we will be sending out invites to integrate with KlubPro in the coming weeks.

The committee has worked hard to introduce a revamped T20 and Training Kit through past player Chris Smith at Dynamic Sublimation/Embroidery WA. It will see an increase in quality and design as well as a larger merchandise range for members and supporters, expanding further in the future. Samples can be tried on at pre-season trainings.
